Money is sent direct to the school in Kenya. There are no UK costs taken from your donation, the only variable is the exchange rate. You'd struggle to ever make your money do more.

A region among the poorest in the world

Well over 70% of people here live below the poverty line, far beyond the level considered 'extreme'. Most parents can only work when they can find it, and pay ranges from 20p to £1.20 a day. Many of the children are orphans.

Real, lasting transformation

Teachers are seeing students gain hope and dream of futures that impact their community. Without GLOW, nearly all of these children would not be in education at all, and the school would not exist.

Jon Air, our UK Chair of Trustees, has known Kenyan founder Bishop Dixon Ojwang for over 25 years. A local leader known across the community, Dixon gave his own inherited land to make this school possible.
